Responsibilities
- Establish and control production and assembly standards for products, including systematically reviewing operational information and reports to identify opportunities to improve safety, delivery times, quality, and efficiency, while reducing costs.
- Conduct technical studies to optimize product characteristics and specifications.
- Establish and/or modify processes for continuous improvement.
- Certify and/or modify documents required for product manufacturing (MIPs).
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of experience as a Manufacturing Engineer, preferably in the electrical transformer industry. Required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Required (degree completed).
- Intermediate English proficiency (oral and written). Required.
- Problem analysis and resolution skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Time and motion analysis.
- Analysis and development of drawings or layouts.
- Design of fixtures and poka-yokes.
- Interpretation of bills of materials (BOMs) and manufacturing routes.
- Lean manufacturing techniques.
