Each of these experiences helps students to see beyond the classroom and to see the world – and themselves – in new ways.Reporting to the Senior AVP, Curriculum and Academics, the Academic Affairs Associate maintains the course information displayed on the WSHE website.
This role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of courses (archiving old courses, adding new ones, and editing existing ones as necessary) through a regular review of host university websites and through proactive communication with WSHE program managers.
It is a focused, detail-driven role that is not customer-facing, with training and support from a stable, long-tenured team.
Other academic course-related projects are to be undertaken as necessary.Responsibilities:Maintain courses in GRS: entering in new courses, archiving old courses, editing existing courses as neededRegularly review host university websites worldwide to identify course changes at the source, including sites not in EnglishLiaise with program managers to ensure clear communication about course changes and updatesSupport course-related marketing projects (tagging programs by Area of Study,
Academic Guides, etc.)Support Academic Records with transcripts-related tasks as neededSkills and Qualifications:Excellent organizational skills and attention to detailStrong critical thinking skills: the ability to notice when something does not follow the usual pattern and adjust accordinglyCuriosity about how universities and courses are structured across different countriesStrong oral and written communication skillsProven record of effective and efficient prioritization of multiple tasksExperience working independently, with excellent time management and use of appropriate technologyEducation, Experience, and Training:Experience studying, living, or working abroadMinimum one year of related relevant professional experienceWork PerksFun & driven environment.Excellent medical, dental, and vision coverage, life, accidental death and dismemberment, accident, critical illness, and disability insurance.
