Position Summary Resident Automation Engineer responsible for keeping complex systems in operation at a major client’s industrial plant in North America.
Responsibilities
Ensure proper functioning of the plant in compliance with KPI and contractual performance.
Collaborate with technical offices for problem resolution, on‑site and remote interventions, procurement and shipment of spare parts, and offers.
Perform corrective maintenance and troubleshooting on installed machinery to guarantee operation.
Carry out preventive maintenance activities according to maintenance plans and company provisions.
Participate in meetings with clients.
Produce reports to the customer on activities and plant performance per agreed methods.
Produce reports on the Elettric80 structure covering activities, performance, anomalies, and corrective actions per agreed methods.
Foster improvement activities, modifications, and possible solutions.
Conduct periodic training for customer operators as agreed.
Manage spare parts stock at the customer’s site, suggesting reorder points and purchases.
Organize, manage and update any security documentation requested by the customer.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechatronics preferred).
Previous experience as an electromechanical maintenance technician or transfer technician in structured companies in the automation or plant engineering sector.
Strong ability to read and understand electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and technical drawings.
Knowledge of PLC software such as Siemens, B&R;, Allen‑Bradley, Rockwell, Fanuc.
Dynamic with strong problem‑solving skills.
Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish.
Good stress management.
Open to relocation.
