Develop and release of the product engineering information for manufacturing assuring the fulfillment of the design intent.
Responsibilities
•Get, analyze and provide technical information required for Engineering changes requested by the Customer, Manufacturing or Engineering. •Analyze Engineering change proposals and prepare design change notification to the team. •Leader to control the Engineering changes and design reviews. •Develop, control and provide harness prints, bill of materials, cut sheets, labor, visual aids, etc. •Request updates to the following data bases : MFG-Pro/QAD, SEM, Capital H library. •Load technical information in the Manufacturing Systems : MFG-Pro/QAD, UCS, LMI, etc. •Assure the correct information in the bill of materials ( BOM )
according with the engineering changes and the adjustments due to the Tear Down results. •Use the knowledge and experience to propose design improvements and cost reduction during harness manufacturing. •Create, submit and follow up cost studies in CMTS. •Get and release new component information required for Engineering changes. •Request and analyze Manufacturing specifications. •Fulfills Lear’s Environmental and Quality Policies and Procedures.
