About Our Client
Our client is a leading global manufacturer specializing in automotive sector in Tlaxcala. The company is committed to operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement in quality and manufacturing performance.
- Lead the plant's quality function, ensuring compliance with IATF 16949, customer-specific requirements, and internal quality standards.
- Manage incoming inspection, process quality controls, and final product validation activities.
- Drive customer quality performance, responding effectively to quality concerns and ensuring robust corrective actions.
- Coordinate audits, certifications, and compliance activities related to automotive industry standards.
- Oversee supplier quality performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives across the manufacturing operation.
- Partner with production, engineering, logistics, and corporate teams to ensure successful launches of new programs.
- Build and develop a high-performing quality organization focused on accountability, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence.
- Support company objectives through data-driven decision-making, root cause analysis, and proactive risk management.
The Successful Applicant
- Minimum 7 years of experience in Automotive Quality.
- Strong experience managing quality systems and customer requirements within automotive manufacturing..
- Deep knowledge of automotive standards including IATF 16949, ISO 9001, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, and VDA 6.3.
- Experience leading internal, customer, and certification audits.
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
- Customer-facing experience with OEMs and/or Tier 1 suppliers.
- Advanced English communication skills and the ability to collaborate with international teams.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and continuous improvement skills.
- Experience in automotive interiors, seating systems, leather, textile manufacturing, or safety-critical products is highly desirable.
- SAP experience preferred, though not mandatory
