Senior Manager, Materials
A confidential organization is looking for an experienced materials leader to oversee inbound materials operations and ensure the right materials are available at the right time, in the right quantity, and at the right cost.
This is a high-impact leadership role for someone who can connect supplier performance, warehouse execution, inventory accuracy, production needs, and continuous improvement. The successful candidate will lead teams, influence cross-functional partners, and help build scalable materials processes for a growing operation.
Your Impact
Lead inbound materials, receiving, warehouse, and material flow operations.
Ensure material availability and support uninterrupted production.
Improve receiving, storage, staging, inventory accuracy, and material delivery processes.
Lead and develop materials, warehouse, receiving, and inventory teams.
Partner with Procurement, Planning, Production, Quality, and suppliers to resolve shortages and delivery risks.
Monitor supplier performance, lead times, shortages, and corrective actions.
Drive improvements in dock-to-stock time, space utilization, labor productivity, and inventory accuracy.
Lead Lean initiatives, process standardization, layout improvements, and cost-reduction projects.
Use ERP, WMS,
and reporting tools to improve visibility and decision-making.
Present operational performance, risks, and improvement plans to senior leadership.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related field.
10–12+ years of experience in materials management, inbound logistics, warehouse operations, supply chain, or manufacturing.
Proven experience leading teams and managing materials or warehouse operations.
Strong knowledge of receiving, inventory control, supplier coordination, material flow, and production support.
Experience managing shortages, delivery risks, supplier escalations, and corrective actions.
Experience with ERP, WMS, SAP, or similar materials management systems.
Strong background in Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
Demonstrated success improving material availability, inventory accuracy, productivity, and operating costs.
Strong analytical, communication, decision-making, and stakeholder management skills.
Fluent English and Spanish required.
