Senior Salesforce Administrator

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Salesforce Administrator to own the day-to-day configuration, customization, and health of our Salesforce environment. This is a hands-on role where you will partner with business stakeholders across Sales, Service, and Operations to translate business requirements into scalable and well-governed Salesforce solutions.

You will also contribute to platform best practices, process improvements, user support, and the ongoing development of the Salesforce ecosystem.

Responsibilities

- Configure and customize Salesforce to meet evolving business requirements.
- Build and maintain declarative automation using Salesforce Flow, Process Builder, and Workflow Rules.
- Create and manage Custom Objects, Fields, Tabs, Page Layouts, Record Types, Validation Rules, and Approval Processes.
- Manage Salesforce security settings, including Profiles, Permission Sets, Role Hierarchy, OWD, and sharing rules.
- Manage data migration and data quality using Data Loader, Import/Export Wizard, and Salesforce Inspector.
- Write and troubleshoot SOQL/SOSL queries and support data cleansing and deduplication.
- Manage sandbox environments and deployments using Change Sets.
- Monitor system performance, storage limits, and overall platform health.
- Manage users, onboarding/offboarding, notifications, reports, and dashboards.
- Provide day-to-day user support and troubleshoot Salesforce issues.
- Support third-party integrations and APIs while maintaining data integrity across connected systems.
- Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable Salesforce solutions.
- Support UAT, release management, go-live activities, and Agile/Scrum processes.
- Mentor junior administrators and contribute to Salesforce governance best practices.

What We're Looking For

- 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce Administration experience, including experience in a senior or lead capacity.
- Salesforce Administrator Certification (ADM 201) required.
- Strong understanding of the Salesforce data model, security model, and sharing rules.
- Proven experience with declarative automation tools, including Flow, Process Builder, and Workflow Rules.
- Experience managing Salesforce environments and deploying changes using Change Sets.
- Working knowledge of SOQL/SOSL and Salesforce data management tools such as Data Loader and Salesforce Inspector.
- Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud; Service Cloud experience is a plus.
- Strong experience partnering with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to Have

- Salesforce Advanced Administrator (ADM 211) or Platform App Builder certification.
- Experience with Apex, Visualforce, or Lightning Web Components.
- Exposure to Salesforce integrations and API-based third-party application connections.
- Experience mentoring or leading junior Salesforce administrators.
- Experience with Salesforce AppExchange applications.
- Experience supporting Salesforce implementations, UAT, and release management.
