Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer – Python

Location: Mexico (Remote)

Duration: Long Term

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain test automation frameworks using Python and Pytest.

- Validate data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL/ELT) processes from source systems to target tables.

- Design test scenarios, test cases, test scripts, and automation suites based on business requirements.

- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or similar DevOps tools.

- Perform functional testing of Web and Desktop applications.

- Analyze defects, troubleshoot failures, and perform root-cause analysis.

- Review business requirements and understand application architecture, components, and data flows.

- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, DevOps teams, and other QA professionals.

- Communicate test progress, defects, risks, and quality status during stakeholder meetings.





- Provide technical guidance to team members and proactively identify testing risks and improvement opportunities.

Required Skills & Experience

- 8+ years of experience in QA, Data Testing, or Test Automation.

- Strong hands-on experience with Python and Pytest.

- Experience in Data Testing, ETL/ELT Testing, Data Validation, and Data Quality Testing.

- Strong understanding of DevOps and CI/CD, preferably with Jenkins.

- Experience with Git, Bitbucket, Perforce, or equivalent source control tools.

- Good experience with Web and Desktop application testing.

- Strong programming, debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.

- Good understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, test strategy, and test automation best practices.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

- Ability to work effectively with technical teams, business stakeholders, and management.
