JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Developing and implementing a Safety Program that complies with theU.S. Army Corps of Engineers Safety and Health Requirements Manual.
- Conducting regularsafety inspections and monitoringto assess compliance with safety standards, operational protocols, and site-specific safety requirements.
- Preparing and maintaining detailedSafety Inspection and Monitoring Reportsto document observations, findings, and corrective actions.
- Investigating incidents, preparing accurate and detailedincident reports, and recommending corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Reviewing, modifying, adding, or deletingsafety records for an assetas required to ensure accurate documentation and compliance.
- Conducting risk assessments, identifying hazards,



and implementing risk mitigation strategies to protect personnel and property.
- Monitoring work sites to ensure all safety measures and equipment are in use and functioning correctly.
- Providing guidance, training, and support to site personnel to promote safety awareness and adherence to safety procedures.
- Ensuring all safety-related documentation and records are maintained accurately and timely in compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
- Coordinating with leadership, supervisors, and contractors to ensure safety goals align with operational objectives.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Proven experience in safety inspection, program implementation, or a related role, preferably in a government or military environment.
- Familiarity with theU.S. Army Corps of Engineers Safety and Health Requirements Manualand other applicable safety standards.
