OverviewWe are looking for aBilingual Personal Injury Pre-Suit Assistantto support our Personal Injury Case Manager and pre-suit department.
This is an important support position designed to keep cases moving efficiently while allowing the Case Manager to focus on client relationships, treatment progression, case strategy, demands, and negotiations.This person will not initially be responsible for independently managing a full caseload.
Instead, the Pre-Suit Assistant will work alongside the Case Manager and handle much of the administrative and follow-up work necessary to move personal injury cases from intake through demand.The adecuado candidate is extremely organized, proactive, warm with clients, comfortable on the phone, and relentless about follow-up.
We do not want someone who simply completes assigned tasks and waits for the next instruction.
We need someone who notices what is missing, follows up until it is received, and understands that every unfinished task can delay a client's case.ScheduleMon-Fri 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Eastern Standard TimePrimary ResponsibilitiesThe Pre-Suit Assistant will assist with:Opening new claims and sending letters of representationCommunicating with insurance carriers and confirming applicable claim and coverage informationRequesting and following up on medical records and itemized billingObtaining PIP ledgers, EOBs, health insurance information, lien information, and other case-related documentationFollowing up with medical providers regarding outstanding records, bills, referrals, and treatment documentationMaintaining organized and complete electronic case filesTracking outstanding records, bills, insurance documents,



and other case needsAssisting the Case Manager with monitoring client treatment and identifying missing information or potential treatment gapsPreparing files for the demand stage and ensuring necessary records and documentation have been obtainedAssisting with demand packages and settlement-related documentationCommunicating with clients for routine updates, documents, appointments, and other case needsMaintaining accurate case-management notes and documenting communicationsFollowing up consistently with providers, adjusters, clients, and third partiesIdentifying stalled tasks or files and bringing them to the Case Manager's attention before they become problemsWhat We Are Looking ForThis role requires someone who is:Highly organized and detail-orientedFast and responsiveProactive rather than task-dependentComfortable making frequent telephone calls and following up repeatedlyWarm, patient, and professional with clientsAble to manage a high volume of open tasks without losing track of detailsComfortable working in a deadline-driven environmentAble to prioritize urgent matters appropriatelyA strong communicator in bothEnglish and SpanishInterested in learning personal injury case management and developing professionallyCustomer service is particularly important to us.
