✍ Short Description:

We’re seeking an experienced Staff Accountant to join our client’s lean and collaborative finance team. This person will play a key role in supporting daily financial operations, maintaining accurate accounting records, and ensuring a smooth month-end close process as the company and its brands continue to grow. The adecuado candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, comfortable working in a lean team environment, and experienced with NetSuite.

This role offers a varied day-to-day workload where the candidate’s contributions will have a direct impact on the team’s success.

? Responsibilities:

- Enter and reconcile daily financial transactions and bank accounts
- Prepare daily cash reports
- Enter and reconcile credit card transactions
- Download e-commerce marketplace deposit reports and create journal entries
- Perform month-end reconciliations for bank accounts, credit cards, and customer liabilities
- Create intercompany invoices and journal entries
- Maintain fixed asset and related depreciation schedules
- Support the month-end close process
- Assist with sales tax prepayments and filings
- Assist with other accounting-related tasks and process creation

✅ Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field
- 4+ years of general accounting experience
- Experience with NetSuite is required
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong proficiency with Google Suite and Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and basic formulas
- Comfortable working in a lean, collaborative team environment
- Ability to handle hands-on accounting responsibilities and a varied workload

? Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience in e-commerce or DTC consumer retail companies
- Previous experience working with Bill.com
- Experience supporting accounting operations in a growing consumer goods environment
- Experience with tools such as Slack and Adobe Acrobat
