**BUSINESS ANALYST**U.S.Mexico import/export operations**:
We are looking for a skilled **Business Analyst** with a minimum of **5 years of experience** to join a dynamic team within a leading organization.
This role focuses on evaluating and recommending **trade compliance software solutions**, supporting complex business and regulatory needs related to **U.S.Mexico import/export operations**, with an emphasis on accuracy, compliance, and executive-level decision support.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Elicit, analyze, and document business and regulatory requirements related to U.S. and Mexico import/export compliance.
- Collaborate with trade compliance, logistics, customs, legal, and IT stakeholders to validate and refine requirements.
- Translate regulatory and operational needs into clear functional and non-functional system requirements.
- Assess solution capabilities such as automated classification, origin determination, USMCA qualification, broker integration, and compliance reporting.
- Identify gaps, risks, integration considerations, and process impacts.
- Develop comparative analyses, scorecards, and executive-ready summaries.
- Provide data-backed recommendations and support stakeholder decision-making through presentations and workshops.
**Technical Skills Required**:
With over **5 years of experience as a Business Analyst**, you must demonstrate strong expertise in the following areas:
- Trade compliance and global trade systems
- U.S.Mexico import/export regulations, including customs, tariffs, and trade agreements (USMCA)
- Requirements analysis, documentation, and stakeholder facilitation
- Evaluation or implementation of trade compliance software (GTM, customs, or trade management platforms)
- Risk assessment, gap analysis, and solution comparison
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- **5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst**, with direct experience in trade compliance or integral trade systems
- Advanced English proficiency
- Excellent communication skills, teamwork, commitment, and a proactive mindset
- Ability to work independently in outcome-focused engagements
**Location & Schedule**:
- **Remote work from Mexico (Guadalajara preferred)**
