**Supplier Quality Engineer**
**Job Summary**

Based in Guadalajara, MX, through collaborative relationships with the supplier & Emerson team you will ensure Emerson requirements are understood and are successfully met in the suppliers current process.
**In this role, your responsibilities will be**:
- Responsible for ensuring supplier quality performance and driving continuous improvement across the supply chain.
- Leads engineering initiatives to optimize production processes, reduce costs, and maintain compliance with industry standards.
- Develops and implements quality systems, conducts supplier audits, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues.
- Supports new product introduction and process validation while maintaining robust documentation and adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Influences supplier selection and qualification for critical components.
- Oversees manufacturing process improvements impacting cost, quality, and delivery.Works with suppliers and internal teams to achieve strategic objectives and ensure operational excellence.
**Who you are**:
- Strong communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Provides technical leadership and guidance to junior engineers and quality specialists.
May lead cross-functional project teams and coordinate supplier improvement initiatives.Interfaces with suppliers, internal engineering, operations, and executive leadership.
Maintains strong external partnerships to ensure compliance and performance.
**For this role, you will need**:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field required; advanced degree preferred.




- Minimum 7+ years of experience in supplier quality and manufacturing engineering roles.
- Expertise in quality management systems, root cause analysis, lean manufacturing, and Six Sigma methodologies.
**Preferred qualifications that set you a part**:
Role requires occasional travel to supplier sites and manufacturing facilities.
Must demonstrate adaptability and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.
