Descripción y detalle de las actividades
- Uses judgment and discretion to resolve problems related to their area of work, performing high-precision tasks (such as Failure Analysis), through studies (Capability, Correlation Analysis, DOE, etc.) and/or specialized equipment (Oscilloscope, Coordinate Measurement Machines - CMM, etc.).
- Prepares, analyzes, and presents inspection and testing reports.
Notifies and requests corrective actions from the corresponding departments (Purchasing, Engineering, Production, etc.) regarding nonconformities and their root causes, and verifies the effectiveness of the corrective actions.
- May participate in Continuous Improvement projects and/or cross-functional teams.
- Reviews quality requirements for the introduction and transfer of new products and/or processes.
- Prepares, interprets, and implements Quality System documentation.
Develops, modifies, and maintains the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for their area.
- May coordinate the Calibration Program for Inspection and Testing Equipment (either through subordinates or external services).
- Supports the Quality Manager in communication with Certifying Bodies.
May attend and/or facilitate audits conducted by Regulatory Agencies.
- Analyzes customer complaint/return reports and coordinates with other departments to implement preventive and corrective actions.




- May train Inspectors, Quality Supervisors, and/or personnel from other areas, and therefore requires advanced technical knowledge of the final product, process, equipment, raw materials, etc.
- Handles process-related supplier issues in coordination with the receiving department, requiring corrective action from the appropriate supplier.
Performs evaluation and inspection of materials received from suppliers.
Experiência y requisitos
- Three to five years of experience in the position
- Multitasking, communication skills (oral and written), teamwork, and quality tools
- Practical knowledge of ISO ****:****
- Perform various computer-related tasks and programs, including but not limited to: Excel, Word, Minitab, and/or other programs related to the Quality Department
- Fluent English
- Availability to travel
