Cost Accounting Specialist

As a **cost accounting specialist**, you will manage costs related to production and marketing, you will ensure the correct accounting allocation, and provide accurate financial information that supports decision-making and budget control.
You will work #LI-Hybrid _in our site located in Querétaro.
R_eporting to a LATAM cost supervisor.
**Key Responsibilities**
- You will manage direct and indirect costs.
- You will participate in updating the standard cost of products.
- You will ensure compliance with applicable accounting and tax policies related to cost recording.
- You will support internal and external cost audits, and help with the physical inventory counting process.
- You will build cost reports and cost statements, and participate in and help prepare important monthly indicators and reports.
- You will collaborate with internal areas to obtain accurate information.
**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Industrial Engineering, Chemistry, or related fields.
- At least 2 years proven or equivalent experience in similar positions.
- Knowledge of accounting and tax regulations applicable to the industry.
- Knowledge in excel: Intermediate (pivot tables, information analysis, basic formulas, graphs, filters, search, average, and concatenate) and experience with ERP software (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics)
- Fluent English, capable to participate in business conversations
