**Key Responsibilities**:
- Manage and oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll, ensuring compliance with both Mexican and US accounting standards.
- Prepare and present financial statements and tax filings to regulatory bodies in Mexico.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and budgets for both Mexican and US entities, providing insights and recommendations to management.
- Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts accurately and efficiently.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes for both Mexican and US books.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant Mexican tax laws and regulations (e.g., IVA, ISR).
- Collaborate with external auditors and tax advisors in both Mexico and the US.
- Support the implementation and maintenance of accounting software and systems.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting regulations and best practices in both Mexico and the US.
**Qualifications**:




- **Bachelor's degree in Accounting**or a related field.
- **Mexican CPA designation (Contador Público Certificado)**or equivalent.
- **Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience**, with a significant portion of that experience gained in a **US company, a US-based accounting firm, or a Mexican company with substantial US operations**.
- **Strong understanding of both Mexican Financial Reporting Standards (NIF) and US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP).

- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- **Fluent in English and Spanish (written and spoken) is required.
