**Description**
CPKC is looking for a sales professional to manage Automotive customers (finished vehicles and auto parts).
This position provides strategic and operational direction to the organization and functions to maximize sales revenues, lead revenue growth, revenue retention and value through new business development, line haul extension, contract negotiations/renewals and execution of pricing strategies.
**Accountabilities**
- Develop and execute account sales strategy
- Assess and mitigate key risks to the business strategy
- Meet revenue targets according to company standards
- Lead the development and execution of contract renewals implementing effective negotiating strategies
- Identify, qualify/quantify and secure key business development opportunities
- Develop customer relationships with key current and future customers, partners and stakeholder organizations as required to achieve the business strategy
- Gather market and customer intelligence and ensure it is communicated to key internal stakeholders
- Manage multiple large projects with extended sales cycle
- Work closely with our operating and asset management team to ensure execution on transportation service.
- Be able to work closely in joint accounts with colleagues in United States and Canada.
- Adheres to all company policies,



procedures and business ethics codes.
**Required**
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, preferably in a job related major field of study
- Minimum seven (5) years of relevant professional experience managing large accounts in the transportation industry.
- Business level English and Spanish, feel comfortable to work in an environment where Business English is the preferred language most of the time.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Used to work under pressure and low supervision, destacado time management skills.
- Have no restrictions to travel withing Mexico, United States and Canada.
**Preferred**
- Rail industry experience.
- Have worked with an automotive company (OEM)
**Working Conditions**
- This is an on site position either in CPCK Monterrey or Mexico City Offices.
- This position has a regular full time schedule with a normal work week of Monday through Friday.
There may be a need for occasional work after hours or weekends.
- This position may require travel up to 15% of the time.
