Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement the plant’s EHS programs, emphasizing injury prevention and operational excellence.- Maintain compliance with all applicable environmental, health, safety, and legal regulations.- Identify workplace hazards through risk evaluations and ensure effective preventive and corrective measures are implemented.- Oversee emergency preparedness activities, safety brigades, and contractor safety practices.- Track and analyze EHS performance indicators, incident reports, and compliance results.- Drive sustainability and environmental programs, including waste reduction and emissions control initiatives.- Foster a strong safety-first culture through employee training, awareness campaigns, and continuous improvement efforts.Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering,
or a related discipline.- Minimum of 7 years of experience in EHS positions within a manufacturing or industrial setting.- Advanced English communication skills, both written and verbal.- Solid understanding of Mexican environmental, health, and safety regulations, as well as risk management principles.- Demonstrated leadership abilities with strong communication and problem-solving skills.- Experience working with ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 50001 management systems.- Knowledge of NFPA standards, emergency management procedures, and incident investigation techniques.- Proven experience establishing and maintaining EHS policies, systems, and regulatory compliance programs.
