Performsimprovement audits at plant sites in both a leadership and a support capacity.
Identify gaps in a site's work practices and helps define the business value for improvements.
Develop strategies, program proposals, improvement programs and control plans to close the gaps and deliver business improvement and help the site implement.
Obtain program funding as required to support developed programs.
Perform technical consulting in various offerings such as root cause failure analysis, reliability centered maintenance, uptime/UPbase, and system preventative maintenance.
Interacts with other consultants, plant and business personnel, suppliers, and contractors to accomplish business improvements.
Job DescriptionProactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues to improve effectiveness of the manufacturing facilities.Implement and Provide engineering support for small and large cost and capital projects.Support the performance and improvement of the control distribution system and rotating equipmentDevelop preventive and predictive programsParticipate in project teams and all activitiesConduct field assessments and auditsLead and implement all Chemours standard/policyProvide technical expertise to communicate/work with other internal and external engineers.Provide technical guidance and review for control procedures, programs and safe work practices.Provide engineering support and expertise for Process Safety Management (PSM) through participation in Process Hazard Analysis (PHAs) and Pre-Startup Safety Reviews (PSSRs).




Provide engineering assistance to maintenance and operations including troubleshooting, evaluation of equipment failures, and technical recommendations for repairs and upgrades, and ownership of improvements.Develop knowledge in area specific equipment to become subject matter experts for the review and preparation of maintenance inspection & work procedures and skills development/training.Prepare and audit scopes of work, estimates, schedules, and equipment specifications.Review preventive maintenance plans to ensure optimum process and frequency of performanceEvaluate vendor proposals and designs and exercise effective judgment around functionality, cost, and timing.Preliminary hazards analysis: Preliminary hazards analysis is the initial identification of potential dangers or failures in a production process or system.Failure modes and effects analysis: Failure modes and effects analysis involves listing the ways a system or piece of equipment can fail and the consequences that would follow.Criticality analysis: Criticality analysis determines how serious the consequences of an asset's failure would be for a company's production systems.Maintainability information: Maintainability information details how efficiently and reliably a company can repair a piece of equipment.Fault tree analysis: Fault tree analysis explores a system failure by studying the preceding, smaller‐scale events that contributed to it.Event tree analysis:



Event tree analysis studies the probable outcomes that would result from a specific event or failure occurring.Job RequirementsMinimum of a BS degree in Mechanical, Mechatronic, Electrical Engineering or related field of studyUS VisaEnglish proficiencyTítulo profesional y cedulaMinimum 2-5 years of similar work experienceStrong values on safety awareness and executionDemonstrated work experience in plant, instrument system design, maintenance, and operation.Rotating equipment experiencePrior experience working with field personnel in maintenance and troubleshooting activitiesDemonstrated work experience in plant, condition-based, predictive and preventive maintenanceExcellent organizational competencies including strong oral and written communication skillsProven ability to manage short duration deadlines, emergency situations and multiple prioritiesAt Chemours, you will find sustainability in our vision, our business and your future.
