About The Role
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our growing accounting team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a recent Accounting graduate who is eager to develop their career in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
The adecuado candidate has a strong accounting foundation, gained through a combination of internships or work experience during college and early professional experience after graduation.
We are looking for someone with a positive attitude, high energy, and a willingness to learn, take ownership, and meet deadlines.
Responsibilities
Prepare and post journal entries
Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities
Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
Support bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations
Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentationAssist with accruals, prepaids, and other general ledger activities
Prepare schedules and reports to support the accounting team
Ensure compliance with internal accounting policies and procedures
Collaborate with other departments to obtain financial information as needed
Support audit requests and other ad hoc accounting projects
Requirements
Available to work full-time on-site at our Midtown office
Bachelor's degree in Accounting (required)
2-4 years of accounting experience, including experience gained while attending university (internships, accounting firms, tax firms, or similar) and/or up to one year of professional experience after graduation
Strong understanding of accounting principles
Experience performing general accounting tasks such as journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close support
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Professional English communication skills
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Positive attitude, high energy, and eagerness to learn
Preferred Qualifications
Professional License (Título and Cédula) obtained or currently in process
Previous experience in a public accounting or tax firm
Experience working in a deadline-driven environment

Base Salary: $20,000 - $22,000 monthly
