American Express General Business Travel (GBT) is seeking an experienced, strategic Salesforce Technical Project Manager (TPM) to join our Project Management Office within the Salesforce Center of Excellence (COE) team.
In this leadership role, you will be accountable for end-to-end project success, drive cross-functional collaboration, and ensure our technology initiatives align with business objectives. You will manage complex project portfolios, navigate collaborator dynamics, and champion process excellence to deliver groundbreaking results.
What You’ll Do

Establish clear project governance, success metrics,

Develop comprehensive project plans with defined scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements
Coordinate project execution, monitor progress against baselines, maintain partner visibility and track and report on key benchmarks and project health metrics
Build and mentor high-performing project teams; foster collaboration and accountability
Coordinate multiple related projects within the program portfolio and identify, track, and manage interdependencies across projects to ensure program objectives are achieved
Resolve conflicts and dependencies to maintain program momentum and alignment
Lead change management initiatives when stakeholder requirements or priorities shift and help teams adapt to evolving business needs while maintaining project focus and delivery
Communicate impact and manage stakeholder expectations through transitions
