The
Chassis DRE (Design and Release Engineer) Steering Junior
is responsible for the design, development, validation, and release of steering system components for vehicles. This role works in collaboration with suppliers and global cross-functional teams to ensure that components meet the company's quality, cost, timing, and technical requirements.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and Release: Support the design, packaging, and component release process of the steering system within the company’s PLM/CAD software.
- Supplier Management: Collaborate with steering component suppliers to track part development, ensuring compliance with technical specifications.
- Validation and Testing: Coordinate and follow up on Design Verification Plan and Report (DVP&R;) testing for the assigned components.
- Problem Solving: Participate in resolving technical issues during prototype and production stages using engineering methodologies (e.g., 8Ds, Ishikawa).
- Change Control: Manage Engineering Change Orders (ECO/ECR) related to assigned components.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality,



Purchasing, and Finance departments to ensure product viability.
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Automotive, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 0 to 2 years of experience in the automotive or manufacturing sector (internships or strong academic/school projects are considered).
- Languages: Intermediate-to-advanced English (essential for integral meetings and technical documentation).

Technical Skills (Desirable/In Development)
- Basic knowledge of Chassis systems, specifically Steering systems.
- Basic-to-intermediate proficiency in CAD software (Catia, NX, Creo, or similar) and data management systems (Teamcenter, Windchill, etc.).
- Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T;).
- Knowledge of quality methodologies such as DFMEA and control plans.
