Key Responsibilities
- Design and release automotive lighting components including
Head Lamps, Tail Lamps, Center Light Panels, and Corner Lamps
.
- Work with Styling teams on
A-class surface reviews, feasibility, and craftsmanship targets
.
- Develop lighting components and detailed designs using
CATIA V6
.
- Perform
manufacturing feasibility
and apply DFM principles.
- Collaborate with
Tier-I suppliers
on cost, mass, tooling, molding, joining, and testing.
- Review simulation results and incorporate recommendations into designs.
- Complete and release lighting components and sub-systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in
Mechanical Engineering
.
- 5+ years automotive lighting design
experience.
- 3+ years Lighting DRE
experience.
- Strong
CATIA V6
and automotive exterior lighting expertise.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, DFM, and supplier management.
