Director of Purchasing
to lead our procurement strategy, strengthen our integral supplier network, and drive cost, quality, and operational excellence across the organization.

Position Summary

The Director of Purchasing will be responsible for developing and executing the company’s purchasing and sourcing strategy across raw materials, packaging components, machinery, indirect spending, and operational supplies. This role will lead supplier negotiations, optimize procurement processes, mitigate supply chain risks, and collaborate closely with operations, production, logistics, engineering, and finance to support the company’s growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities




- Develop and execute the company’s purchasing and strategic sourcing initiatives.
- Lead supplier selection, qualification, contract negotiations, and long-term supplier development.
- Build and manage a high-performing domestic and international supplier network.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, contracts, and strategic agreements to maximize value and reduce total cost of ownership.
- Identify cost-reduction opportunities through strategic sourcing, value engineering, supplier consolidation, and process improvements.
- Monitor supplier performance through KPIs related to quality, delivery, service, and cost competitiveness.
- Develop contingency sourcing plans to minimize supply chain disruptions and improve business continuity.
- Partner with Production, Planning, Engineering, Logistics, Sales, and Finance to align purchasing activities with operational and customer requirements.
