About the role

A integral company in logistics is looking for a Software Architect Technical
Lead
to join their team in Mexico City, hybrid in Polanco. We're looking for someone who leads architecture and a team while staying an individual contributor at least 30% of their time, someone who gets into the codebase when the project needs it.

What you'll do
- Lead the migration from Java/Spring Boot to TypeScript/Node.js on serverless AWS (Lambda, SAM), in production at scale.
- Define and maintain architecture standards: DDD, Hexagonal, microservices, event-driven.
- Work with advanced, serverless AWS infrastructure: Lambda, SAM, CloudFormation, API Gateway, EventBridge.
- RabbitMQ, Kibana/ELK, and Redis as the system requires.




- Report directly to stakeholders in Europe and act as the technical bridge between the Mexico City team and headquarters.
- Lead a technical team.

What you need
- 8+ years of solid technical experience.
- 2+ years of team lead experience.
- Real dual stack:
TypeScript/Node.js 22 with advanced serverless AWS
and

Java
21/17 with
Spring Boot.
- Java 21 and advanced AWS knowledge.
- Advanced English (C1) & Spanish.
- Based in Mexico City, available for the hybrid schedule in Polanco.

Nice to have
- Experience in international team enviroments or working directly with foreign stakeholders.
- Experience leading complex corporate migrations from Java to node.js.

What we offer
- Gross salary:
$120,000 – $170,000 MXN/month
