Academic Background or Education
• Degree and professional license in fields related to Education, Languages, or English Language Teaching.
• Bachelor's Degree in Education, Elementary Education, English Language Teaching, Foreign Languages, Languages, Applied Linguistics, Education with a specialization in English, Translation, English Literature
• Certified Teacher, Certified Teacher with a specialization in English
• Required certifications: Cambridge FCE, CAE, or ICPE, Aptis levels B2 and C1 for candidates whose first language is not English
- IB PYP experience is desireable but not required
Years of Experience
• 1.5–2 years of classroom teaching experience.
Languages
• Bilingual in English and Spanish will have the advantage but it is not required.
(Professional level English is required!)
Job Objective
• To design and implement meaningful, inclusive, and innovative learning experiences, centered on the student and aligned with IB, SEP, and international accreditation standards, fostering academic, socio-emotional, and critical thinking development through effective pedagogical practices, continuous assessment, and a culture of ongoing improvement.
Main Job Functions
Plan, organize, and implement the academic program according to the guidelines established by the IB, SEP, BUAP, and the institution.
Design meaningful, inclusive, and innovative learning experiences. • Implement educational differentiation and inclusion strategies.
Administer diagnostic, formative,
and summative assessments.
Analyze academic results and develop continuous improvement strategies.
Promote critical thinking and interdisciplinary learning.
Foster the development of the IB Learner Profile.
Maintain effective communication with parents.
Participate in continuous improvement and accreditation processes.
Integrate educational technology tools.
Promote safe and inclusive learning environments.
Maintain order and cleanliness in the classroom.

SALARY AND BENEFITS
For international hires, additional support is provided, such as:

Salaries and/or wages offered allow recruited personnel to live reasonably and comfortably in our country. All salary payments for foreign personnel are made in Mexican pesos
$28,****** mxn monthly ($24,****** mxn net) - payments 2 x a month
Food voucher ($1,****** monthly)
Personal Savings Fund ($1,****** monthly)
Christmas bonus is equivalent to one month's salary (pro-rated for the first year)
Housing assistance-The School will provide a
housing stipend
up to $5,****** - subject to taxation - -
International teachers who are married to Mexican nationals and/or are Mexican permanent residents are not entitled to this benefit.
Up to $750 USD for the flight to Mexico,
The full immigration process through temporary residency (and yearly support until permanent residency),

Personnel can take up to
ten personal days
per academic year with certain restrictions.
Welcome kit with financial assistance and basic household items.
The School will offer free
Spanish classes
to international teachers for one year.
