The role offers €21-€25 per hour depending on experience and the opportunity to further develop both technical and leadership skills within a supportive and well-run team environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Servicing
- Maintaining and repairing HGVs and trailers
- Carrying out diagnostics and fault-finding across mechanical and electrical systems
- Working on a range of commercial vehicles
- Completing routine inspections and preventative maintenance
- Assisting with transport refrigeration systems where required
- Supporting and guiding junior mechanics within the workshop
- Ensuring all work is completed to required safety and quality standards
- Maintaining accurate service records and job documentation.
- Have a minimum of 2-5 years’ experience working on HGVs or commercial vehicles
- Demonstrate strong diagnostics and fault-finding ability
- Be capable of working independently while taking ownership of work.
- A full driving licence is desirable, holding an HGV licence would be advantageous but is not essential.
- A strong command of English is required, with a minimum level of B2 across speaking, reading and writing.
