The Plant Manager ensures safe and reliable finished product is delivered in a cost effective and efficient manner without harm to people or the environment. The Plant Manager reports into the Integrated Supply Chain organization.ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:The roles and responsibilities are broken down into five main key performance indicator (KPI) categories listed below as well as the tasks associated to each of those categories:Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE)OwnstheArea/LocationHSE Strategy& MetricsOwnstheArea/LocationMetrics, Measures and Targetsfor PlantHS&EDrive; "Perfect HSE Day" campaign throughoutArea/LocationDrives leadership engagements across the organization (Five Fundamentals of a Perfect HSE Day) - ensures integrity and thorough understanding of the Perfect HSE Day campaignEnsure safe operating environment for all employees. Identification and control of risks in the work areas / identify specific training to prepare employeesbefore undertaking their tasksEnsure reporting and transparency of all HSE incidents, and thorough investigation completed withcorrective actions implementedEnsure,Developand Implement an HSE Ideas Platform - review,votingand approval. Investing in local initiatives to develop global solutionsPresent any recordable incidents in area of responsibility to theIncident Review Board (IRB)Work with HSE representatives in ensuring goal alignmentConduct monthly HSE communications to ensure full compliance to; PL & OFS requirements for PPE, HSE Checklist, Permits to Work, MOCs, ORA/HRA, Site Evaluations, HSE Modules, Waste Disposal, Sump/Oil Water SeparatorMaintenanceand any other site specific HSE requirementsReview required monthly Hazard Hunts from each of your locations and look for trends to communicate back for improvement opportunitiesWork with HSE reps for your area/locationto conduct andparticipatein routine HSE audits, HH’s and Safety discussionDelivery/ProductionOwnstheReady in Manufacturing/ Productivity StrategyPlantOwnsthe Metrics, Measures and Targets forPlant Production,On-TimeSupplyand Productivityforthe PlantEnsure production schedule and job planning process is in place and being executed acrossareaReviewplantthroughput and efficiency,identifyopportunities where labour hrs or parts consumption are higheror lowerthan normal - investigate anddevelop action plans to address6S and Lean - Ensure 6S (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardise, Sustain and Safety) strategy in place and executed as per plan across the globeBe theprimarylinkbetween thePlant and Product Line Global Supply ChainAnyneeds, changes, tempos,



goals, financials, HC, M&E;, incidents (HSE or Quality), NTI, Customer requirements, etc.For thePlantmustbe owned by thePlant Managerand approved by thePL Global Supply ChainLeader in order to keep theplantsstandardized and laser focused on Service Delivery expectationsElevate any Inventory needs/shortages upimmediatelythat mayimpactPlant’sability to meet OPS Demands on-time andoperatetheplantmost efficientlyDeliver plant levelmonthly updateandKPIs to see if any adjustmentsrequiredto better meet and exceed all expectations. Elevate any issuesimmediatelyfor support driving most favorable results forwardEnsureplanthas formalpreventive maintenance and contingency plans in place forproduction equipment.QualityDefines the Quality Strategy forplantDefines the Metrics, Measures and Targets forPlantQualityDrive "Perfect Quality Day"forplantEnsureallManufacturingpolicies, processes, procedures, workflows,plantequipment, signage, personnel, etc.Adhereonlyto the approved global standardsEnsureappropriate, compliant,accurateandtimelydata entry for all associated systems of record; SAP,MaPS, PRIDE andAMO Work CenterEnsurePlant isclean andorganized at all timesReport up any facility issuestoreal-estatecontacts for site and regionimmediatelyand follow-up to ensuretimelycompletion. Elevate if necessary.FinancialDevelop and meet the financial plan of the Plant (hours, cost)Review and ensure thatthe plant ismoving and managing Rental Assets in full accordance PL Asset Management expectations and policies to contribute to our CE and Utilization metricsEnsure the properProductionSupplies are being ordered consistently on items for yourplantand that yourSupervisorsare appropriately managing usage to prevent abuse/unnecessary costReview 3rdParty (Inspection & Machine Shop) pricing and service levels periodically (at least bi-annually) to ensure they meetMFG Production needs and MFGCost efficiencies. Communicate any opportunities toPL Sourcing & Procurement and PL Global Supply ChainLeadertosupport driving favorable results forwardEnsure and review thatPlant isfullyutilizing6S &Leanprinciples;,



reach out for anyassistanceneeded toPL Integral Supply Chain LeaderOvertime Approvals, Financial Efficiency and StandardizationReview Labor Rate for accuracy every 6 monthsSupport any M&E; management needs; transfers, scrap, counts, tagging, AFE, etc.People/EmployeesOwnsthe Employee andTalent StrategyforPlantOwnsthe Metrics, Measures and Targets forPlantEmployee & TalentFoster a positive,respectfuland inclusive work environment acrossthe Plant; instilling our Company Values throughout all our day-to-day activities and communicationsMeetfrequentlywith each of yourShop Floor Supervisors and Team Leadsto ensure all expectations are being met and any other long term &short; termgoalsare addressed toschedule, etc.Meetfrequentlywith the variousInternal Customers and Functionalleads to confirm that they are getting what they need fromPlantper expectationsParticipate and supportPlantemployeeswithcareerprogression. Communicate any opportunities to HR, COE’s and PL Global Supply Chain Leaderfor support driving favorable results forwardBe fully engagedand leadall hiring, RIF, termination, discipline,PDreviews, etc. related toyourPlant teamsRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.Minimum of 5 additional years of experience in Plant Management.Desired CharacteristicsStrong oral and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. Demonstated ability to analyze and resolve problems. Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
