KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and implement comprehensive, integrated human rights and social impact initiatives with a specific focus on thought leadership, corporate storytelling, and positive impact.
- Devise and execute comprehensive social impact strategies aligned with the organization's values and objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate social impact considerations into business operations.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with key external stakeholders, including NGOs and advocacy groups focused on social impact and human rights.
- Represent the organization in discussions and initiatives related to social responsibility and human rights.
- Develop and implement training programs to educate internal teams on human rights principles, ethical business practices, and social impact.
- Facilitate workshops and awareness campaigns to promote a culture of respect for human rights.
- Conduct community impact assessments across HP’s value chain.
- Develop social impact metrics and KPIs across our human rights program to facilitate impact measurement.
- Support integration of social and community impact metrics into our human rights programs and communicate this impact to internal stakeholders as appropriate.
- Contribute expertise and analysis to enhancing mandatory and voluntary human rights related disclosures with social impact data.
- Assist in asset creation highlighting social impact initiatives and measurements.
- Prepare regular reports on the organization's social impact performance, highlighting achievements and areas for improvement.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and Experience Required
- Bachelor's degree human rights, social impact, social sciences, international relations, or similar. Must have knowledge of business and human rights, including normative frameworks and new regulations.
- Ability to identify emerging trends from internal, market and industry data.
- Value chain and/or sustainability knowledge.
- Human Rights knowledge desirable.
- Proven self-starter with excellent business judgment, problem solving, organization and networking skills.
Knowledge and Skills Required
- Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills; effective from individual contributor to executive level. Able to express ideas simply and graphically for diverse internal and external audiences.
- Strategic thinker and results-oriented, with unquestionable commitment to quality work

- Ability to work independently as well as on a close-knit, highly-productive team.
- A high level of professionalism/integrity and ability to work with sensitive and confidential information.

- Able to navigate HP organization and develop effective relationships to manage change and drive adoption.
- Track record of moving from ideas to innovation and results that elevate organizational performance.
Language
- Fluency in oral and written English is required.
