We're actively looking for dynamic individuals to join our team as Staff Accountants to provide crucial support in our financial operations. As a Remote Staff Accountant, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our company's financial processes.
**Rate in USD: $ 8.00 to 8.50 (Per Hour)**
**Your key responsibilities will include**:
**Accounts Payable**
- Invoice processing and accurate posting of payments - Send payment remittances to vendors
- Generate account statements
- Coordinate invoice approval process and secure necessary approvals
- Solicit and file New Vendor Applications
- Track item receipts
- Track open purchase orders
- Maintain record of vendor prepayments Credit Cards Reconciliation
- Post credit card activity in system
- Reconcile and post credit card statements
**Accounts Receivable**
- Maintain records of customer deposits
- Issue customer payment confirmations
- Maintain customer data in SharePoint
- Post received customer payments
- Coordinate the collections process with routine payment inquiries
- Generate routine reports on activities associated with collections
**ERP Management - Quick Books Enterprise**
- Set up new vendor accounts
- Set up new customer accounts
- Reconcile and enter employee expense reports Additional Responsibilities
- Maintain production sales & payment reports
- Audit invoices for class, amounts, dates, and payment terms
- Audit key vendor invoices and statements
- Reconcile bank and loan statements
- Generate monthly schedules for depreciation and amortization
- Access online vendor portals to secure invoices and statements
- Liaison with supply chain team for problem resolution - Maintain Expensify records through portal
- Monthly Accruals
- Monthly Journal Entries
- Order/Invoice issue resolutions/credit memos
- Prepare 1099 report for CPA
- Generate weekly A/P and A/R reports
**Qualification**
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or progress towards a degree
- 5-7 years’ experience progressive experience in a consumer-packaged goods environment
- Excellent (advanced) computer skills: QuickBooks Super User, Microsoft Office
- English fully bilingual
