**Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Maintenance Intern to join our world-class engineering team. As a Maintenance Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a leading general company dedicated to making the world healthier, cleaner, and safer.**:
**Responsibilities**:
- Research, compile, tabulate, and analyze data for various administrative and departmental matters such as maintenance plans, spending control, downtime, scrap and improvement reports, and cost reduction projects.
- Assist in the quotation of tools and new equipment.
- Support documentation, execution, and closure of validations and revalidations of machines, equipment, and molded products.
- Create and monitor engineering changes in Quality Management System databases.




- Propose occupational safety improvements and support the investigation and solution of incidents and accidents.
- Create or modify engineering/maintenance procedures and forms as necessary.
- Train employees involved in process changes or new processes.
- Provide support in the investigation of corrective actions, complaints, or CAPAs.
**Requirements**:
- High school degree or equivalent experience is acceptable.
- Proof of enrollment in a college or university.
- Work experience, paid or volunteer, demonstrating the ability to successfully perform the position's duties.
- Good communication and training skills.
- Organized and efficient in daily tasks.
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, presentation software, and Excel).
- Basic knowledge in SolidWorks and Autocad.
