**Lead Manufacturing Engineering Technician**:
Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. is in search of a Lead Manufacturing Engineering Technician to become part of our team. **Position Summary**:
As the Lead Manufacturing Engineering Technician, you will be responsible for the optimal operation of the machinery and equipment in the molding rack department. Your main role will be operating injection molding equipment to meet quality and production demand. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing processes and methods in accordance with product specifications and quality standards.
**Job Duties and General Responsibilities**:
- Set up and start up machinery equipment




- Keep the machines operating under controls
- Implement the production plan
- Support the preventive & corrective maintenance programs
- Support the engineering department in the acquisition of parts & tools
- Support the production area in different projects
**Minimum Requirements**:
**Education**:
- Technician degree, high school diploma, or equivalent experience (with more than 4 years working as a technician in molding areas).
**Experience**:
- More than 3 years of experience handling maintenance of injection molding machinery and equipment
- Basic knowledge of a certification process in regards to your area of responsibility (ISO 90001, ISO 13485)
- Injection molding experience
**Languages**:
- English Level: Not necessary
**Additional Accreditations**:
- N/A
**Specialized Skills**:
- Personality: stable, discreet, dynamic, and a leader
- Familiarity with tools and equipment such as computers, pallet jacks, hoists, drills, millimeters, amperemeters, gauges, verniers, micrometers, chillers, manual torches of propane gas, keys, and dice of all kinds.
