Client Computing Platform Senior
We are looking for a highly skilled Client Computing Platform Senior professional to join our IT infrastructure team. This role is responsible for managing, optimizing, and supporting the client computing environment, including workstations, laptops, mobile devices, and associated software, ensuring a seamless user experience and secure, scalable infrastructure.
**Key Responsibilities**:
1. Platform Management:
Manage and maintain client computing platforms, including Windows, macOS, and mobile OS environments. Ensure optimal performance, security, and user satisfaction.
2. Endpoint Security:
Implement and manage endpoint security measures, such as encryption, antivirus, and compliance with security policies. Proactively address vulnerabilities and monitor for potential threats.
3. Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI):
Manage virtual desktop infrastructure environments (e.g., Azure Virtual Desktop) to support remote work, ensuring smooth operation and scalability.
4. Software Deployment and Patch Management:
Oversee software distribution, patch management, and updates for the client platform. Ensure timely installation of security patches and software updates across all devices.
5. Mobile Device Management (MDM):
Administer mobile device management solutions to ensure secure and compliant usage of mobile devices within the company environment.
6.Collaboration Tools
Manage collaboration platforms, including Office 365, OneDrive, and Microsoft Teams. Ensure seamless integration of productivity tools to support team efficiency and communication.
7. Technical Support and Troubleshooting:
Provide high-level technical support to end-users, troubleshoot hardware, software,



and connectivity issues. Escalate complex issues to the appropriate team if necessary.
8.Automation and Scripting:
Develop and maintain scripts to automate routine tasks, optimize the management of client computing environments, and improve overall efficiency.
9. Documentation and Reporting:
Create and maintain detailed documentation for client computing standards, procedures, and configurations. Generate reports on endpoint status, security compliance, and system performance.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in client computing, desktop support, or IT infrastructure.
- Expertise in managing Windows and macOS environments.
- Experience with Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), Intune, and other VDI solutions.
- Strong knowledge of Mobile Device Management (MDM) and endpoint security.
- Proficiency with Office 365, Teams, OneDrive, and other collaboration tools.
- Solid understanding of network fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN).
- Scripting and automation experience (PowerShell, Bash, etc.).
- Certifications (desired):
- Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate.
- ITIL Foundation or other IT service management certifications.
