**Materials Manager**
**Main Objective**: Responsible to administer supply chain of tanks/
other fabrication items from vendors to meet plant requirements.
**Role and responsibility**:
1. Develop/ manage the vendors for fabrication of transformer tanks and components
2. Forecast and Plan all fabrication requirements by coordination with plants
managements.
3. Work with inhouse facility to manage needs and decide if outsourcing is required.
4. Manage logistics of tank delivery from vendors to plants.
5. Project and manage total cost of procurement.
6. Manage drawing review and handshake between vendor and engineering
7. Manage internal processes of release, PO, coordination for meeting requirements.
8.



Manage source inspections for quality assurance on the outsourced fabrication
items.
9. Organization control for 4-5 managers
- planning and contracts, execution, Source quality, logistics.
MATERIALS MANAGER
**Education & Experience**:
1. Degree in Business/other discipline.
2. Engineering design knowledge of fabrication.
3. Experience of about 5 years in procurement and 5 years in fabrication shop management
4. Knowledge of steel fabrication/ machining processes
5. International travel and logistic experience.
6. Fluent English.
