We are seeking an experienced **Automation Tester in Java** to join our team!
As you help build and refine our nascent automation framework, you will play a pivotal role in the development of our automated testing strategies. This position requires a deep understanding of testing standards, automation testing, and problem-solving to contribute effectively to the automation of our system processes.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Write functional, integration, and acceptance test cases
- Automate test cases for regression, functional, and smoke testing
- Execute and manage automation tasks, ensuring testing standards are maintained
- Work resourcefully in troubleshooting and resolving system issues
- Automate testing for back-end services (REST APIs) and the front end
- Document and report defects
- Manage test data and test environments
- Maintain test script versions
**REQUIREMENTS**:
- 5+ years of Quality Assurance experience with at least 2+ years in test automation
- Proficiency in Jenkins, Git
- Strong background in REST testing using REST Assured
- Expertise in Selenium or similar automation tools
- Qualifications in creating and sustaining automation scripts meeting acceptance criteria
- Knowledge of agile methodology
- Understanding of integrating test suites with CI/CD pipelines
- Competency in manual testing
- Exceptional organizational and analytical skills
