Job Summary
- To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a _Sr Test Engineer_ located in _Guadalajara, North_
- Reporting to the Process Engineering Manager, Sr Test Engineer role involves_ _implementing and maintaining cost-effective methods of testing and troubleshooting systems, software, and/or equipment._
What a typical day looks like:
- _ Coordinates electronic engineering and/or technical personnel in fabrication and design of testing and test control apparatus and equipment, or software and systems testing._
- _ Coordinates electronic engineering activities concerned with development, procurement, installation and calibration of instruments, equipment and control devices required to test, and record test data._
- _ Interfaces and confers with scientific, engineering, and technical personnel to resolve testing problems such as product or system malfunctions, incomplete test data, data interpretation or coding issues._
- _ Analyzes and interprets test data and prepares technical reports for use by electronic or software engineering, and management personnel._




- _ May develops or use computer software and hardware to conduct tests on electronic products and systems or software._
- _ Trains and instructs floor support, test technicians and test operators on test hardware and/or software, as well as problem solving techniques._
- _ Resolves test yield problems by performing analysis of root causes, developing, and coordinating corrective action measures and monitoring improvements._
- _ Perform and support equipment verification and integration in production._
- _ Create and maintain process documentation._
- _ Actively search for new technologies or procedures in the test sector._
- _ Determines conditions under which tests are to be conducted and sequences and phases of test operations._
The experience we’re looking to add to our team:
- _ BA/BS or equivalent work experience_
- _ Must have Strong knowledge in electronics Digital,_
- _ Strong use of advanced test instruments for debugging Oscilloscope, NVA, curve tracer etc._
- _ Must have ICT, AXI, Jtag, functional test experience and AOI_
- _ Fluent English > 80%_
- _ Capability to travel to support other sites ww 30%_
- _ Must have Current Visa_
- _ Fluent English > 80%_
- _ Nice to have Advanced Labview and Test stand experience_
- _ Nice to have DFT (Design For Testability) Analysis_
- _ Nice to have Operative systems windows and linux (any common distro)_
- _ Nice to have Analog and RF_
- _ Nice to have Programming language any of this Python, C or Java/Node_
