**Responsibilities**:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in compliance with Mexican accounting regulations.
- Process accounts payable and receivable promptly, ensuring smooth financial operations.
- Reconcile bank and credit card statements regularly to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare and issue invoices to clients and customers, maintaining proper documentation.
- Monitor expenses and ensure appropriate classification and coding.
- Assist in processing payroll, calculating employee hours and wages accurately.
- Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, income, and cash flow statements.
- Participate in month-end and year-end closing procedures to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
- Ensure the confidentiality of financial information and compliance with internal policies and procedures.
- Assist with audits and tax preparation, providing necessary support as needed.
- Provide backup support to the accounting team as necessary.
- Handle day-to-day accounting tasks, such as monthly financial reporting, journal entries, and recording payments and adjustments.
- Manage invoice processing and ensure compliance with invoicing policies.
**Requirements**:
- **Education**:



Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
- **Accounting Knowledge**: Strong understanding of accounting principles, specifically related to Mexican tax laws, regulations, and practices.
- **Software Proficiency**: Experience with accounting software and familiarity with government tax platforms are preferred. Knowledge of Zoho One is a plus.
- **Computer Skills**:Advanced knowledge of accounting software.
- **Language Skills**: Excellent command of English, especially in accounting terminology.
**Benefits**:
- **Salary**: $10,000.00 to $16,000.00 MXN gross monthly, depending on experience and English proficiency.
- **Benefits**: As per Mexican labor laws.
- **Work Hours**: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with a 1-hour lunch break.
