**What is Travelport?**
Travelport is the brains behind lots of your travel bookings. Plane, car or hotel. You name it, we do it. Our technology is used to book that magical family holiday, infamous bachelorette party or long overdue school reunion. While we can't solve mosquito bites or lost luggage, we can simplify a lot of the technical parts of travel, and we're looking for the best thinkers to help us do it.

**The Data Science Software Engineering Internship**:

**Responsibilities include**:
- Use algorithms and/or data structures to solve straightforward problems or optimize basic tasks.
- Produce efficient code based on requirements.
**Who we are looking for in this role**:
- You are enrolled in the final year of a relevant degree program, such as Computer Science, Electronics, Informatics or Software Engineering and are due to graduate in 2025.




- Familiarity with fundamental programming concepts, ideally in a language that supports functional programming (e.g., Scala or Java).
- Basic proficiency in SQL to interact with relational databases. Understanding core database concepts like tables and relationships is a plus.
- Knowledge of common algorithms (e.g., bubble sort or quicksort; linear or binary search) and simple data structures (e.g., arrays, lists, or stacks).
- Basic understanding of Git for version control, including commands like clone, commit, push, and pull.
- Willingness to learn and ability to adjust to new tools, tasks, or platforms.
- You have strong communication skills, in Spanish and English; you’re able to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.You are based in Guadalajara and available to come to the office 3 days per week.
**The offer**:
$11,000 MX monthly for 40 hours per week

**The hiring process**:
2 nd step: An on-demand questionnaire to complete which will include a short Coding assessment (we will send you the link when you apply).
3 rd step: If successful, you will receive an invitation to attend an interview at our offices where you will have the opportunity to meet with our team and demonstrate your coding skills!
