Responsible for developing, implementing, maintaining and measuring the effectiveness of the quality system (inspection systems, policies and procedures, measurement and testing, corrective actions, internal audits, etc.) that was established to assure that the assemblies and/or subassemblies meet the internal quality standards, established by the clients and/or applicable regulations
**Main functions**:
- Insures the Compliance to Quality Objectives (Quality Costs, Customer Satisfaction, etc.) and the effectiveness of Corrective Measures
- Coordinates the Fulfillment of the Inspection Procedures (Raw Material and/or Processes and Final Product) to insure the Quality Requirements
- Develops and Analyzes Process Performance by comparing Statistical Data and Acceptance Criteria seeking more Efficient Costs and Cycle Times, guaranteeing Product Quality and Reliability
- Participates in the Planning, Development and Transfer of New Products or Changes in Parts, Materials or Processes
- Represents the Company before Regulatory Agencies and/or Certification Agencies and Professional Organizations such as ASQ
- Can act as a Facilitator to the Managerial Staff regarding Continuous Improvement Programs, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Etc.
- Prepares and Manages the Objectives and Budgets of the Department, as well as Validates and Authorizes Standard Operating Procedures
**Requirements**:
- Engineering Degree
- +3 Years at the Managerial Level Within the Quality Area
- +5 years of experience in quality systems and procedures
- Strong experience in the metal-mechanical industry
- Bilingual Spanish/English
