As a Purchasing Manager at ALTEN Mexico, you will be a key part in managing supplier relationships, driving sourcing strategies, and supporting cross-functional initiatives to improve cost, delivery, and operational efficiency.
**Key responsibilities**:
- Manage long-term supplier relationships.
- Resolve commercial escalations raised by operational teams.
- Issue and negotiate Requests for Quotation (RFQs).
- Lead and coordinate source changes as part of a multifunctional team.
**Scope of responsibilities**:
- Drive localization of machining in the Americas.
- Reduce working capital, lead times, and material costs.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, supply chain, or a related field.
- Prior experience in strategic or technical purchasing.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Familiarity with an industrial or manufacturing environment (preferred).
- Advanced English proficiency.
