**General Accountant**

Are you a detail-oriented finance professional with a strong background in accounting and tax compliance?
About the Role:
As a General Accountant, you will manage day-to-day accounting and financial reporting tasks, ensure full compliance with local tax regulations, and support financial planning and budgeting processes. You'll work closely with general finance teams to ensure transparency, accuracy, and consistency across all financial activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle the purchase invoice process: approval, payment, and recordkeeping.
- Monitor and control monthly expenses via petty cash and corporate cards.
- Reconcile credit card statements and resolve related issues.
- Ensure full compliance with local accounting standards, tax obligations, and IPF Group policies.
- Manage CFDI invoicing and payment complements (issuing and receiving).
- Conduct cost accounting, invoice processing, and payment execution.
- Prepare and reconcile monthly financial statements (income & balance sheet) using Navision.
- Manage bank account reconciliations and align business system records.
- Monitor monthly performance vs. budget and control costs accordingly.
**Requirements**:




- **Advanced English (spoken and written)** - essential for daily communication with global teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in financial services or SOFOM.
- Strong knowledge of Mexican tax compliance and IFRS reporting.
- Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, formulas, analysis).
- Experience with ERP/accounting systems - **Navision preferred**.
