Due to increased customer demand, Danfoss Sensing Solutions is establishing new sensor production lines in Apodaca, Mexico. For our sensor growth journey, we are searching for a **Process Engineer** to be part of a newly established team. As a Process Engineer, **you will play a key role in ramping up our new, highly automated production lines for pressure sensors.**
After ramping up and stabilizing the production line, you will be responsible for the introduction of new product variants and driving continuous improvements related to OEE (Overall Equipment Efficiency), First Pass Yield (quality), and productivity (cost).
You will work with state-of-the-art processes and be part of a global team, cooperating with colleagues across country borders and cultures.
**Responsibilities**:
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.
- Ramp up new production lines.
- Maintain process-related documentation and work instructions.
- Optimize production processes with a focus on quality and cost.
- Drive systematic root cause analysis with the production team to resolve production interruptions and stops.
- Systematically monitor process performance data (KPIs) and proactively take necessary action in case of deviations.
- Serve as the main responsible person for the production processes, working closely with Production, Quality, Production Planning, and Product Engineering.
**Background & Skills**:
- Bachelor of Science in Manufacturing or Engineering, or relevant technical experience from a similar position.




- Minimum of 3 years of operational experience working with mass production and LEAN manufacturing.
- Preferably including automated manufacturing of mechatronic products.
- Experience with relevant production processes such as laser welding, resistance welding, or soldering.
- A "can-do" mindset and willingness to set high standards.
- Ability to solve challenges collaboratively with operators and maintenance teams.
- Enjoys working in cross-functional and cross-cultural teams with a high level of activity and dynamism.
- Fluent in Spanish and English, both verbally and in writing.
- Six Sigma Green Belt preferred.
- Familiarity with IATF 16949 methods and processes.
