The Process Engineer research, design and develop extrusion and forming process and equipment for new and existing products
**Primary Responsibilities**:
- Selection of processes and definition of production parameters
- Provide technical input to achieve reproduceable production runs of hoses in accordance with drawings/ specifications.
- Develop process, tooling, and equipment specifications with focus on extrusion and forming rubber hoses.
- Coordination and responsibility for extrusion process development projects.
- Evaluation of customer specifications regarding technical feasibility.
- Conduct trial extrusions in the plant to generate samples for customers.
- Provide support to Extrusion hoses plants.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D;, manufacturing, and quality control.




- Utilizes disciplined and proven problem-solving techniques to determine root cause analysis for equipment downtime and recommends specific process improvement.
- Champions scrap reduction activities in assigned area of responsibility. Supports, contributes, and demonstrates lean manufacturing principles in work area.
- Continuously works toward achieving goals and measurables of the facility.
- Complies with policies, procedures, and facility standards in ISO , IATF 16949, including safety and environmental guidelines.
- Required to be on call and responsive to production support needs of the facility.
