**About the Role**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Provide 1:1 or small group support to pupils with a range of SEN, including ASD, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and learning delays.
- Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies.
- Support pupils in developing their social skills, emotional regulation, and confidence.
- Assist with classroom activities, preparation of resources, and maintaining a positive learning environment.
- Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to teachers and other professionals.
- Foster positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents/carers.
- Ensure the safeguarding and welfare of all pupils at all times.
**Requirements**:




- Previous experience working with children with SEN in a school or similar setting is essential.
- A relevant qualification (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning, or equivalent) is desirable.
- Strong communication, empathy, and teamwork skills.
- A proactive and adaptable approach to supporting a variety of learning needs.
- An understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures (training will be provided if necessary).
**Desirable**:
- Experience with specific SEN strategies (e.g., PECS, Makaton, sensory integration).
- First aid training and/or Team Teach certification.
- A valid DBS check (or willingness to undergo one).
