As an **Material Cost Ford Champ**,**you will gain invaluable experience by supporting critical strategic initiatives that define Ford's future product portfolio and ensure its profitability. You will interact extensively with cross-functional and regional (Business Unit) management teams, assisting in the pre-Product Steering Committee (Pre-PSC) milestone approval process and contributing to the development and casting of Ford’s future portfolio within the Integral Product Cycle Plan. This role is ideal for self-starters who thrive in a dynamic, evolving environment where initiative, creativity, analytical rigor, and an enthusiasm for learning are highly valued.
**What you´ll need**:
- Active student from any of the last 4 semesters of engineering (e.g., Mechanical,



Industrial, Computer, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence) or Business Administration
- 90% English skills (Oral, reading, writing, and listening)
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
**What you´ll do**:
- **Product Strategy, Customer Experience, and Financial Alignment**:The role involves supporting the development of compelling product propositions, identifying winning aspirations and profitability objectives, translating customer priorities into features, and conducting customer research. It also includes assisting with material cost target development (C2) and leading business case analyses to optimize corporate financial targets.
- **Strategic Definition, Business Model Development, and Portfolio Management**:This encompasses contributing to Ford's business strategy using design thinking, supporting ecosystem business model development, and assisting in the creation of prioritized winning portfolio investment proposals. The role also involves deep-dive strategic studies and exploring white-space innovation opportunities.
