We are looking for an experienced Senior Automated Tester in JS to join our team. In this position, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, QA engineers, designers, and technical managers, to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality products with comprehensive test automation coverage. You will play a key role in fostering a culture of quality and enabling teams to take ownership of the testing process to maximize efficiency.
**Responsibilities**
- Partner with product and engineering teams to analyze system requirements and technical design documents with an emphasis on automation
- Enhance and maintain existing test automation frameworks and scripts, making necessary updates as required
- Identify, recommend, and implement automation tools, technologies, and strategies to address specific challenges
- Elevate release quality by integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
- Create short and efficient feedback loops to assess the quality of every code change
- Equip developers with tools and resources to ensure confidence in their work from the start of feature development
- Act as an advocate for quality practices and represent the expectations of end-users across teams
- Continuously stay informed about advancements in tools, processes, and technologies related to automated testing
- Facilitate discussions and evaluations within the internal quality assurance community
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent experience in a similar role
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience in automated testing or software development
- Demonstrated ability to write, refine, and debug automated tests for various features




- Expertise in maintaining and improving test automation frameworks
- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, as well as familiarity with Python or GoLang
- Knowledge of standard test frameworks associated with these programming languages
- Strong expertise in version control systems like Git and a solid understanding of Git workflows
- Practical experience with Kubernetes for managing deployment and testing environments
- Familiarity with external testing platforms such as BrowserStack or Sauce Labs
- Solid software development skills with a strong foundation in concepts like code structure, unit testing, mocking, and algorithms
- Understanding of QA techniques such as functional, performance, regression, black-box, and white-box testing
- Hands-on experience working with CI/CD tools for automation pipelines
- Proficiency in working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or SQL
- Familiarity with Playwright for test automation
- Advanced English communication skills (written and verbal) at a B2+ level or higher
**Nice to have**
- Experience in the healthcare domain
- Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS or Google Cloud
- Familiarity with secure coding practices and environments such as HIPAA or PCI compliance
