**Work Appropriately**
On Site: This position requires to work on site on a full-time basis
Key Responsibilities
- **Innovation Support**:
- Lead design-for-AM initiatives to improve tooling, fixtures, and prototype development.
- Support R&D; and pilot projects that leverage AM technologies for process improvement and cost reduction.
- **Lab Management**:
- Operate and maintain the Additive Manufacturing Lab, ensuring safety, cleanliness, and operational readiness.
- Manage inventory of AM materials, tools, and consumables.
- Develop and enforce lab protocols and best practices.
- **Printer Operation & Troubleshooting**:
- Serve as the site expert on Stratasys 3D printers, including FDM and PolyJet technologies.
- Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and repairs to ensure uptime and print quality.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, and print processes.
- **Documentation & Reporting**:
- Maintain detailed records of print jobs, material usage, and lab performance metrics.
- Generate reports on AM project outcomes, ROI, and technical learnings.
- Contribute to corporate knowledge-sharing platforms and AM communities within
**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Materials Science, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in additive manufacturing, preferably in an industrial or automotive setting.
- Hands-on experience with Stratasys 3D printers and associated software (GrabCAD Print, Insight, etc.).




- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks, NX, etc) and design for additive principles.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
**Preferred Skills**:
- Experience with polymer and composite materials used in AM.
- Knowledge of post-processing techniques (e.g., support removal, surface finishing).
- Understanding of GM manufacturing systems (Safetty Performance Standards, GMS, BIQ, CI) and other quality standards.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish).
