We are seeking a **Predictive Data Scientist** to join our analytics team and support our freight brokerage pricing and RFP (Request for Proposal) processes.
You will play a key role in developing **predictive pricing models**, **freight rate forecasting tools**, and **bid strategy optimization frameworks** to support data-driven decisions during RFPs and daily operations.
**Key Responsibilities**
- **Develop predictive models** to forecast freight rates, capacity trends, and market fluctuations based on historical and real-time data (e.g., load boards, lane history, seasonality, fuel prices).
- **Optimize RFP responses** by building algorithms and simulations that recommend competitive yet profitable pricing structures.
- Collaborate with pricing analysts and operations teams to **translate data insights into pricing strategies**.




- Integrate predictive tools into internal systems to automate and improve **pricing consistency and response speed** during high-volume RFP cycles.
- Design and maintain **data pipelines** and **feature engineering processes** that feed machine learning models.
- Analyze **market rate indexes** and internal cost data to detect pricing opportunities and margin risks.
- Develop **scenario-based simulations** to test pricing strategies and measure elasticity or competitive response.
- Build and monitor **performance dashboards and KPIs**:
- Partner with IT and product teams to ensure **data integrity, automation, and scalability** of predictive pricing systems.
