What's the role?:
Revenue Accounting team is looking for a **Zuora Accounting Analyst** supporting our international accounting and reports to our North America Accounting Manager, based in Chicago
The team consists of currently 10 employees in total, located in Chicago, Leon, and Eindhoven. Revenue Accounting is responsible for managing and administrating the revenue for North America. Collaboration, communication and knowledge sharing are crucial for the success of the team..
Main responsibilities of the **Zuora Accounting Analyst** are:
- Overseeing the day-to-day operations and integrations of our Quote to Bill Architecture which includes SalesForce, CRM Zuora Billing to People Soft.
- Ensure accurate Billing and Revenue Recognition from Zuora.
- Identify troubleshooting of system and integration errors, and collaborate along with different teams to build processes.
- Involvement on the change management and release process of Zuora Billing
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of system functionality, customization, and integration
- Ensure timely follow-ups of all outstanding items for accurate accounting
- Resolve internal customer inquiries in a professional manner
- Support the work of the team as directed by management
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, procedures and policy and with IFRS regime
- Maintain documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices
- Be involved in the current monthly journal entries and other month-end close activities
- Prepare G/L account reconciliations on a monthly basis
- Assist with year-end audit
- Assist with other Zuora projects as needed

- **This role reports into our North America Accounting Manager, based in Chicago.**




- **This position follows a hybrid working arrangement, three days on-site in our Refugio Campestre office and two days remote (work from home). No exceptions will be made to this working arrangement.**

- Bachelor’s degree required in Accounting or Finance or similar field
- 5 years of working experience or less.
- Zuora system and billing experience Preferred.
- Solid understanding of Quote to Cash processes and controls
- Strong communication/organization skills
- Detail oriented
- Ability to multi-task in a deadline-oriented environment
- Ability to work in a team environment or independently
- Experience maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive financial information
- CPA license or equivalent preferred
- Strong English language communication skills (oral and written)
