As a **Security Professional - Mall Patrol Driver** in **Santa Fe, NM**, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols throughout a bustling retail location. Your visible presence and exceptional customer service will help create a welcoming environment for guests and staff. This role requires operating a vehicle to patrol the property, so a valid driver's license is necessary. **What You'll Do**:
- Provide customer service to guests, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, following site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
- Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activity in and around the premises.
- Assist in managing access control procedures and monitor entry and exit points as required.
- Support emergency response activities by communicating promptly with appropriate personnel and following established procedures.
- Work in varying environments and conditions as required by the retail location.
- Maintain a visible presence throughout assigned areas to help to deter inappropriate behavior and provide assistance as needed.
**Minimum Requirements**:
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
